#PARTYsos with F&F clothing

Coat - Miss Selfridge

Recently I was asked to create a look from F&F at Tesco's #partySOS collection, as we're now offically into the festive season - everyone is searching for their new party outfits!
I wanted to put something casual yet dressy together as this collection had quite a sophisticated and casual feel to it. The classic leather wrap skirt is a must-have for the Christmas season as it can be paired with just about anything! I paired it with this camel turtleneck, something that is a casual and not your average party choice - but it would be perfect for a work christmas meal or a family get together. Lastly I absolutely fell in love with this bag, fur bags are so popular this season and I've definitely joined the bandwagon on this one - this bag is the perfect size being small but it has the room to fit everything you need in it.
Overall I love this outfit and will definitely be wearing it over christmas this season!

OOTD: black duster

Orange Shirt - Charity Shop
Hayden Boyfriend Jeans - Topshop

I thought it was about time I did an outfit post as I know it has been a while! This gorgeous duster coat was kindly sent to me by the lovely NaaNaa Clothing. Duster coats have been a massive trend this season and I am still loving them - I am slowly building up my collection!
Although they are better for the spring or autumn months and winter is fast approaching, this particular duster coat is actually quite a thick material and definitely has enough room for layering underneath, I paired it with this burnt orange shirt (must-have colour for autumn/winter!) and my slouchy boyfriend jeans.
I'm also wearing a necklace from my sisters handmade collection, there are so many different styles available so go and check out her etsy store!

Photography: Anna Fletcher
Styling: Jessica Bell
Hair: Victoria Farrow
Model: Joanne Schwarz

I thought I would share a photoshoot I did last week on the beach! I'm really pleased with how these shots turned out... First off, shooting on the beach itself was exciting as the sleepy town I live in doesn't have a whole lot of amazing locations for shoots, this little gem was only 45 minutes away so I'll definitely be heading back here in the future. Me and my group of friends are all building up our portfolios in different areas (styling, hair etc) so this worked out really well in the sense that there was something for everyone to do, and it was great to have a small team of people instead of just doing it on my own.

I would absolutely love to get some feedback of what you think of these shots, positive or negative - would just be great to hear!

I thought I would write a little update blog post seeing as it has been a while! Yes I know it's been nearly a month since I posted.. eek. I have kind of been in the process of figuring out what I'm doing with my life! If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter then you would of seen I've had a little change recently and I am focusing my accounts more on my passion for fashion photography. I am currently working on my portfolio so I would love if you could check out my facebook page here and let me know what you think!
I will still try to do fashion or outfit posts here and there but I will also be blogging on here about my photo shoots, thoughts, mood boards etc...
Although I am soon to be going into a full time job, I am going to keep working on my portfolio and documenting it on here... Hope this is something that people will enjoy reading!

Again, sorry for such a delay in posting!

OOTD: last of the pastels

Top - Charity Shop
Shirt - Matalan (similar here)
Jeans - Topshop (similar here)
Belt - Miss Selfridge

I have a feeling the majority of my outfit posts are going to have something or other from a charity shop in at the moment! Its my favourite thing to look around and find such bargains you know no one else has. I love this peach polka dot shirt I got from a vintage charity shop in Leicester during the summer, and although it's quite summery I definitely feel like it could be layered up from Autumn/Winter. As it's still been quite warm this week, I thought I would make the most of it and try and squeeze in pastels one more time!

OOTD: the cape coat

Cape Coat - Charity Shop
Fishnet Jumper - Primark

My favourite thing has to be popping into a charity shop and coming out with a complete bargain. I got this cape coat for just £7 last week and although I never saw this style as something I would usually go for,  I thought I would give it a quick try on and ended up falling in love with it!
It's such an easy throw on coat and is perfect for these early autumn months, it can also be layered up as it starts to get chillier. This is also probably the first monochrome based outfit I've posted on my blog!? But I just loved the simplicity of it and definitely feeling I am going to experiment with these sort of looks for Autumn/Winter.

LFW: my favourite collections

So it was this time last week that the start of London Fashion Week was taking place, and I'm sure I wasn't the only one constantly checking my Instagram feed and looking up the latest collections online. I'm also pretty sure I wasn't the only one wishing I was there, I was very jealous of all the bloggers that went this year - and judging from everyones photos, it looked great!

Browsing the Vogue London Fashion Week page at all the collections that were presented over the week, I decided to put together my top 3 favourite collections...

Peter Pilotto

This definitely has to be my favourite collection out of the 3, I always sway towards anything with big prints and textures and these pieces instantly caught my eye. I love the clashing patterns with the structured shapes. The subtle colours mixed with black is quite unique and I love the shoes that were paired with these outfits!

There were a few hints of bright colours within this collection but the majority was a monochrome look including the ones I picked. I love the marble print midi dress as well as the daisy textured midi skirt, this collection includes a girly aspect with the floral, textured prints but with the tailored shapes it has a very sophisticated vibe. A definite favourite!

Apu Jan

Yes more prints, I know! I just can't resist when looking at the collections. These again, are marble inspired prints from Apu Jan, but with a very specific colour palette of dark and light blues. I really love this style print especially when mixed with structured shapes such as the far left and far right pictures.

All very different collections but slightly similar in the aspects that I love about them.
The dream is to one day be watching the shows myself, but in the mean time I'll have to admire them from behind my laptop!

What were your favourite SS15 collections from LFW?

OOTD: floral midi

Jumper - Topshop
Skirt - Primark
Necklace - Miss Selfridge
Sunglasses - Accessorize (similar here)
Bag - Urban Outfitters (similar here

I got this floral midi skirt in the summer for a bargain of £5! I love the colours and print and I think you can either make it very summery, or add some darker colours in there like I have for Autumn/Winter. The sun is still out from time to time, so the tights haven't got to come out just yet!
A new purchase I've got recently are these chunky black New Look boots, they're so comfortable and the heel is a perfect height so I don't feel too tall in them. These will definitely be a great staple boot for winter and I'm sure they'll get a lot of use!

OOTD: ripped up

Jeans c/o Celeb Look
Grey Top - H&M
Floral Boots - Asos

The mega ripped jeans look has been popular this summer, and I've been desperate to try a pair myself. I love these ones that were kindly sent to me from Celeb Look, they're perfect for adding a bit of edge to an outfit and can be styled up very simply so not a difficult outfit to put together. I think they're great for this time of year when it's not warm enough to wear shorts but you still want to show off your summer tan!

OOTD: autumn boho

autumn boho1
autumn boho3
Maxi Skirt - Topshop (similar here)
Rings - Primark & Miss Selfridge

First of all, how amazing is the print on this t-shirt!? I love anything with a bold print and am a big fan of this t-shirt I got from the lovely guys at Red Label, it definitely represents more autumn inspired colours which is perfect for this time of year. I paired it with my forever worn loose maxi skirt from Topshop and my lilac fedora, a slightly autumn inspired boho look.
I look ridiculously pale in these photos considering I came back from holiday less than a week ago, the lighting was very bright which I didn't realise until after taking the photos so I apologise for looking like a bit of a ghost!
