Why I Love Buying From Charity Shops

Shopping in charity shops has been one my favourite things ever since I can remember. There is something about browsing through a load of old unwanted clothes and finding a hidden gem for a fraction of the price you would pay on the high street. I love being able to wear something you know no one else has as it's not been hanging in front of Topshop for the last week, as well as the important fact that your money is going to a good cause. Don't get me wrong I love shopping on the high street and there is a lot of things you wouldn't be able to find in a charity shop but I still love having a browse and finding something new. Sometimes you can go in and find absolutely nothing but it is definitely something you have to be persistent with to find the great pieces.
This shirt is a favourite in my wardrobe after coming across it in a local charity shop, I think it's a really versatile piece. I have styled it for colder weather here as this english weather is far too unpredictable at the moment, but it would also be perfect for summer tied round the waist with a little pair of denim shorts or as an over shirt over something quite plain.

My accomodation for summer is right next door to a Sue Ryder store so I am in charity shop heaven having a peek whenever a walk past for any new bargains! So I'm sure there will be more up from the charity shops soon...

The Holiday Edit #2: Accessories

With the official countdown on until my holiday (it's 16 days by the way, if you are interested) the next 2 weeks are going to be spent browsing for holiday buys. I do tend to always leave it until the last minute, so there is a lot on my wish list! Next up in my holiday edit series is accessories, the things you can't go on holiday without and the bits and bobs that just complete your perfect holiday outfit. Here I have included a variety of hats, sunglasses, bags, belts and even phone cases.

Happy shopping!

The Versatile Jumpsuit

A classic look switch up can be done when it comes to jumpsuits. You may have seen this one in one of my previous posts here, but in todays post I thought I would make this jumpsuit look a little different. I am so in love with this New Look piece,  and even more so now I have realised how versatile it is. I have been seeing pinstripe wide legged and culotte trousers everywhere recently and as much as I have wanted to buy some, the bank balance won't quite allow that at the moment when I already have something super similar sitting in the wardrobe.
So I decided to pair this with a plain white shirt and turn this into a pair of culotte trousers, I've dressed this look up a little with a pair of gladiator heels... a look that I actually wore out on a recent weekend and loved! Unfortunately I can't find this exact one available on the New Look website anymore but there are so many similar ones that you could re-create a similar outfit with that I have linked below...

The Holiday Edit #1: Swimwear

Now I finally have a holiday booked...going 4 weeks today I might add (eek!) I thought it only made sense to start doing a bit of holiday shopping! I love browsing on the internet for inspiration for holiday bits so I have decided to put together a series of posts featuring various elements of your holiday shop. First up, swimwear! The one pretty much everyone looks at first when holiday shopping, because lets face it - you spend most of your time in one when you're away! There is so many that I could purchase but I am trying to be good due to already having a few, although I definitely would like to get a new one for holiday, I don't think it feels right holiday shopping without a new bikini! Plus there are far too many amazing pieces on the high street at the moment, here are my current online picks...

Which one is your favourite?

Culotte Co-ord For £10

Everyone loves a bargain... and Boohoo is the perfect go-to for this! I actually purchased this knitted co-ord set quite a while ago but as it is still available online I thought I would put it up on here. Casual loungewear has been a huge trend this year so when I came across this co-ord I couldn't resist trying it out. I think at the time it was on a special offer of just £8 and for 2 items of that price I couldn't say no! With the price now only being £10 it is still a total bargain and perfect staple piece for your wardrobe. Although this is probably better a spring piece as the top is a polo neck, this british weather is extremely unpredictable so I'm sure there are times I will be wearing this over summer!
